More on Congressional Democratic defeatism

Nancy Pelosi's surreder on the funding bill for Trump's concentration camps for kidnapped immigrant children looks like a turning point. After that, it seems unreasonable to expect the current Democratic leadership, Pelosi in the Senate and Chuck Schumer in the Senate, to put up any kind of serious resistance to Trump's criminal and reckless actions as President.

Sam Seder in this Tuesday episode of The Majority Report says in frustration that the Democratic establishment's main strategy for the next year and a half seems to be to not do much of anything and hope that things get so bad that Trump gets voted out in 2020.
