Netanyahu, "Amalek" and religious-fundamentalist politics

Politics and religious fundamentalism are a bad, destructive mix. But Americans are not sponsoring Hamas. Netanyahu, on the other hand, promoted Hamas (“Amalek”) for years in order to divide the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip from the secular Palestinian leadership in the West Bank.
