Future Great Statesman Mike Pence thinks Donald Trump is like Martin Luther King, Jr.

Check this out.
Mike Pence has been a crass enabler of Trump all along.

When (I'm being optimistic) Trump is impeached, pressed into resigning, or removed by Mike Pence and the Cabinet - the latter extremely unlikely - the media and the Never-Trumprs and various Democratic pundits and politicians will be hailing Pence as a Great Statesman and the Savior of the Republic.

So it's worth saying now and repeating until that happens, that a Presidential pardon for Trump for the purposes of obstructing justice would be an impeachable offense. Congress should take that fully into account during impeachment investigations. And if evidence of illegal and/or impeachable conduct on Pence's part surfaces then that should be appropriately reported and investigated, too.

Given the real existing Democratic Party, it still requires real effort to picture them actually impeaching Trump. Impeaching Trump and Pence at the same time seems even more like fantasy. But the fact that the Republicans ludicrously misused the impeachment power against Bill Clinton does not relieve the House from its Constitutional responsibilities.
